Frances Cutrone, 97, Of Norwalk

NORWALK, Conn. – Frances Cutrone, 97, of Norwalk, died Tuesday, Feb. 24 at Notre Dame Convalescent Home.

She was the wife of the late Joseph Cutrone. She was born Feb. 26, 1917, in Brockway, Pa., a daughter of the late Pasquale and Concetta (Volpe) Murone and was one of 14 siblings. She was a seamstress for the Rissillo Sportswear Company, as well as the Manhattan Shirt Factory. She also was a member of the St. Ann’s Auxiliary Club.

She is survived by a son, Joseph, and his wife, Debbie; a daughter, Mary Sue, (Skrensky) and her husband, John; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law; and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be from 5-8 p.m. Friday at The Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave., Norwalk. The St. Ann Auxiliary will meet at 7 p.m. at Magner. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Matthew Church, 216 Scribner Ave., Norwalk, with burial to follow at St. John Cemetery, 223 Richards Ave., Norwalk.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Notre Dame Convalescent Home SSTV Capital Improvements Fund, 76 W. Rocks Road, Norwalk.
