NORWALK, Conn. - Fortunata (Freda) Annunziato of Norwalk died Wednesday, June 5. She was 101.
Annunziato was born Aug. 20, 1911, in Harrison, N.Y., daughter of Michael DeLucia, Sr. and Rose Abrezzio DeLucia. She was a homemaker and served as a volunteer at both St. Joseph Hospital in Stamford and Norwalk Hospital.
Annunziato is survived by six grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents; husband, Louis (Manley) Annunziato; daughters, Rosemary Sessa and Consiglia (Connie) Molcan; three brothers; and two sisters.
Calling hours are Saturday, June 8 from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at Collins Funeral Home, 92 East Ave., Norwalk. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, June 8 at 10 a.m. in St. Jerome Church, 23 Half Mile Road, Norwalk. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery, Darien.
