Lazarus was born July 14, 1925, in Old Chatham, N.Y., she was the daughter of Frank and Helen MacKay Tobin and resided in Norwalk for most of her adult life. She was a graduate of both Norwalk High School and Katharine Gibbs School in New York. She was employed at Edwards Company in Norwalk as an executive secretary until her retirement.
Lazarus is survived by her sister-in-law, Jean Lazarus; a nephew; two grandnieces and a grandnephew; and several cousins. She was predeceased by her parents; and husband, Frank H. Lazarus.
Calling hours are Friday, March 21 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Magner Funeral Home. The funeral will also be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 22 at the funeral home followed by burial at Fairfield Memorial Park in Stamford.
Donations in memory of Florence M. Lazarus may be made to Norwalk Hospital.
