Flor Medina Pabon, 98, Of Norwalk, WWII Veteran, Carpenter

NORWALK, Conn. - Flor Medina Pabon of Norwalk died Sept. 25. He was 98.

Pabon was born Oct. 30, 1915, in Jayuya, Puerto Rico, to Jacinto Medina and Maria Pabon and has lived locally since 2007. He was a carpenter by trade. He served during Wiorld War II  in the U.S. Army.

Pabon is survived by his daughter, Nancy M. Vazquez; son, Nephtali Medina Torres; brother, Jose Medina; sisters, Rita Rodriguez and Angelita Medina; three grandchildren; several nieces, nephews; and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents; and wife, Francisca Feliciano.

There are no calling hours. Graveside services with full military honors will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 30 at Riverside Cemetery, 81 Riverside Ave., Norwalk.
