Felix 'Phil' R. Iannazzo, 87, Of Norwalk

NORWALK, Conn. – Felix "Phil" R. Iannazzo, of Norwalk, died on June 2. He was 87.

Iannazzo was born in Sanbiase, Italy, to Anthony and Louise (nee Pullia) Iannazzo. 

He served in the U.S. Marines during World War II and owning the Main Market in Norwalk. He was also a high school basketball official throughout the state for 30 years.

He was predeceased by his parents and brother Peter,.

He is survived by his wife Giselle (nee Thibedeau); three children, Richard and his wife Marcie of Stratford, Reid and his wife Patti of Norwalk, Rob and his companion Kathy of Trumbull; four grandchildren, Philip, Richard, Nicole and Rachel; brother Anthony of Bridgeport; sister Millie and her husband Antonio Iannazzo; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours are Friday, June 5 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave. in Norwalk.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 6 at St. Jerome Church, 23 Half Mile Road in Norwalk.

Interment with full military honors will follow at St. John Cemetery.
