Calderon was born Feb. 26, 1935, in Guatemala, daughter of Virginia del Carmen Aquino and Ricardo Reyes and has lived locally since 1985. She was a former resident of Greenwich. Calderon is survived by her husband, Felipe N. Calderon; children, Gustavo A. Aquino (Tracy), Nery F. Calderon (Nidia), Sergio G. Calderon (Michelle), Maria del Carmen Ramirez (Javier), Ricardo A. Calderon, Elida A. Calderon, Ivan Alfonso Calderon(Christine), Marta (Lisa) E. Calderon; siblings, Rolando, Evangelina, Vilma, Nidia, Berta, Angela, Ricardo, and Rene, Patricia; 23 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; and brothers, Leonardo and Edwin Reyes. Calling hours are Thursday, Aug. 1 from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Collins Funeral Home, 92 East Ave., Norwalk. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 2 in St. Matthew Church, 216 Scribner Ave., Norwalk. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery, 223 Richards Ave., Norwalk.
