Dorothy T. Ozimkoski, 90, Of Norwalk, Worked For Bigelow Tea

NORWALK, Conn. - Dorothy T. Ozimkoski of Norwalk died Thursday, Nov. 7. She was 90.

Ozimkoski was born Feb. 21, 1923, in the Bronx, N.Y., daughter of Frank and Josephine Bristovish Slaker, and has lived locally for most of her life. She was a former employee and a member of the Teapot Club of Bigelow Tea and was a member of the Golden Age Club at St. Matthew Church.

Ozimkoski is survived by her husband, Thomas E. Ozimkoski; daughters, Dorothy (David) Drake of Waterbury, Sharon (Joseph) Honulik of Shelton; five grandsons; 14 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews; and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents; son, Thomas William Ozimkoski; and brother, Frank Slaker.

There are no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12 at St. Matthew Church, 216 Scribner Ave., Norwalk, with burial to follow at St. John Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Ozimkoski’s name may be made to St. Matthew Church.
