Dorothy Elizabeth Haseltine, 80, Of Norwalk

NORWALK, Conn. - Dorothy Elizabeth Haseltine (“Dottie”) of Norwalk, formerly of Briarcliff Manor, N.Y., died July 9. She was age 80.

Haseltine was born Dec. 4, 1932, in Port Chester, N.Y., daughter to Frank and Rosetta Ryan Farrell of Larchmont, N.Y. She was a retired schoolteacher and taught many years in the Scarsdale and Ossining, N.Y. school districts.

Haseltine is survived by her husband, Robert P. Haseltine; daughter, Melanie Master (Randy) of Norwalk; two grandsons; sister, Susan Shockey of Westport; and brother, Frank Farrell of Ridgefield. She was predeceased by her parents.

Calling hours are Saturday, July 13 at 3 p.m. directly at Trinity Episcopal Church, 651 Pequot Ave., Southport. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.

Norwalk’s Hoyt-Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 5 East Wall Street is in charge with arrangements.
