NORWALK, Conn. - Dorothy Ann “Dot” Wetmore of Norwalk died Sunday, July 6. She was 85.
Wetmore was born May 29, 1929, in Norwalk, the daughter of Andrew and Evelyn Kish. She was a member of the South Norwalk Boat Club Women’s Auxiliary for many years.
Wetmore is survived by her children, Gary (Mary Beth) of Norwalk, Gregory (Barbara) of Danbury and Karen Carpenter (Donald) of Emerald Isle, N.C.; eight grandchildren; a great-grandchild; a nephew; and sister-in-law, Terry Kish. She was predeceased by her parents; husband, Guy R. Wetmore; son, Guy R. Wetmore Jr.; and brother, Andrew Kish Sr.
Calling hours are Sunday, July 13, from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Collins Funeral Home, 92 East Ave., Norwalk. Services will be held Monday, July 14, at 10 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery, 81 Riverside Ave., Norwalk.
