NORWALK, Conn. - Donald V.S. Hunter of Norwalk died Monday, Oct. 28. He was 84.
Hunter was born July 12, 1929, son of Walter V. and Veronica Stewart Hunter. He was the grand knight of Council 46, Knights of Columbus, and was a member and past president of the Ancient Order of Hibernians.
Hunter is survived by his wife, Betty; children Greg Hunter, Kate Allsup, Deirdre Hunter and David Hunter; and his sisters and three grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents; two brothers; and daughter-in-law, Nancee Gell.
A reception will be held Saturday, Nov. 2, from 9 to 10:15 a.m. at St. Philip Church Narthex, followed by a Mass of Christian burial to be celebrated at 10:30 a.m.
