NORWALK, Conn. Donald F. Horvath Sr., a former Norwalk resident, died June 7 surrounded by family. He was 77.
Born May 10, 1935 in Norwalk, Horvath was most recently of Cape May Court House, N.J. He opened the Respiratory Therapy Department of Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital in 1973.
He was predeceased by his wife of 46 years, Joan Poremba Horvath; his mother, Christine and a great-grandson. He is survived by four daughters, Karen (Glen) Ortman, of Cape May Court House, Donna (Mike) Millen, of Myrtle Beach, S.C., Sue (Bryan) White, of Cape May Court House and Cindy (Robby) Geary of Myrtle Beach; a son, Don (Patricia) Horvath, of Cape May Court House; three sisters, Dorothy Best, of Southampton, N.J., Marjorie de Bruycker, of Lake Worth, Fla. and Joan Kendall, of Middletown, R.I.; 13 grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.
Funeral services were held Monday at Radzieta Funeral Home in Cape May Court House.
