Dirt Bike Crash Kills Jonathan Brown Of Norwalk

NORWALK, Conn. – Jonathan David Brown of Norwalk, a student at the University of Alabama, died Oct. 8 in Memphis. He was 20. 

Brown died after a dirt bike accident in Tupelo, Miss., while visiting family, according to the University of Alabama newspaper, Crimson White. He was airlifted to Memphis Regional Medical Center in a coma before succumbing to his injuries.

Born April 20, 1992, in Norwalk, he was the son of David and Catherine Dudas Brown. A graduate of Brien McMahon High School in Norwalk, he was in his junior year at the University of Alabama. Brown worked for Grieb's Pharmacy and Silvermine Golf Course. He loved being out on the water with his family and friends. 

Besides his parents, Brown is survived by two brothers, Austin and Ryan Brown, both of Norwalk; four uncles; an aunt; and many cousins. 

A funeral service was held Monday at the United Church of Rowayton. Edward Lawrence Funeral Home handled arrangements.
