He was born May 20, 1952, in Norwalk to the late Vincent “Jim” Matregrano and Mary “Honey” Schede Matregrano.
Matregrano worked the past 17 years as a sales representative for Hocon Gas in Norwalk.
He also volunteered as treasurer and vice president of the Brien McMahon Football Booster Club and coached Ben Whone National Little League and Norwalk Junior Soccer.
He was a member of the Home Builders & Remodelers Association of Fairfield County.
Survivors include his wife, Ann Kozma Matregrano; three sons, Timothy (Kelly Hewitt) Matregrano, Douglas Matregrano and Steven Matregrano; one brother, Vincent (Paula) Matregrano of Branford; one sister, Lisa Matregrano of Danbury; and several nieces and nephews.
One sister, Sharon Matregrano, preceded him in death.
Calling hours will be 4-7 p.m. Sunday, April 19, at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave., Norwalk.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, April 20, at St. Matthew Church, 216 Scribner Ave, Norwalk.
Interment will follow in St. John’s Cemetery, Norwalk.
