Astley was born Feb. 2, 1950, in Norfolk, England, to George Delaval and Dianna Christian Astley. He was educated in Switzerland and worked and traveled across the globe.
Astley is survived by his wife, Denise; children, Martin, Caroline, Dominic, Christopher, and Joelle; and six grandchildren.
A service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 15, at Collins Funeral Home, 92 East Ave., Norwalk with a reception at the home immediately after the service.
