NORWALK, Conn. -- Clinton Warren Chizinski, a Norwalk resident, died at age 31, on Sunday, Feb. 15.
He was born Feb. 22, 1984, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Stamford.
He graduated from Fairfield University with a degree in international business and after several years in the corporate world, he started his own company.
His interests were varied and many. In high school, he was a star southpaw pitcher and loved baseball and the camaraderie that came with it; he was an avid reader and left behind a library's worth of books to prove it; he loved writing and filled many journals with his thoughts; his workout regimen is legendary and included Crossfit competitions and jiu-jitsu; he loved snowboarding in winter and basking in the sun in summer.
He is survived by his parents, Tom and Gale Chizinski, Falmouth, Mass.; his brother, Brett Chizinski, Somerville, Mass.; and his soul mate and partner, Alexandra (Lexy) Brand of Long Island; along with aunts, uncles, cousins and many, many dear friends.
Calling hours will be held Friday, Feb. 20, between 5 and 8 p.m. at Collins Funeral Home, 92 East Ave., Norwalk.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks to extend an act of kindness, volunteer or send a donation to a cause that is close to your heart. Most recently, Operation Hope in Fairfield is a cause that he supported.
