Carolina 'Kay' Walters, 93, Of Norwalk

NORWALK, Conn. – Carolina "Kay" Walters of Norwalk died Oct. 14 at Regency Heights of Stamford. She was 93. 

Born Aug. 6, 1919, in Stamford, she was the daughter of Antonio and Rose Lupinacci Cammarota. Walters retired from the Board of Education after working in the Stamford school system for 10 years. 

She relocated to Florida in 1978, where she spent many years at Palm Lake Estates. She enjoyed spending time at the Over 60 Club in Stamford. 

Walters is survived by a daughter, Joan Tedeschi; a sister, Frances Salvatore; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two husbands, Frank Tedeschi and Jerry Walters; three sisters, Angelina Orrico, Margaret DeLuca-Martin and Mary O'Brien; and two brothers, John Cammarota and Allie Cammarota. 

Visitation is from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at Lacerenza Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Stamford. A prayer service will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Fairfield Memorial Park in Stamford. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Over 60 Club Inc., 628 Main Street, Stamford, CT 06901.
