NORWALK, Conn. – Carol Garvey, 65, died at home with her family by her side.
She was born in Norwalk on Nov. 27, 1949 and was a daughter to the late Bernard J. and Barbara P. Rozell Stone. Carol was a Norwalk Hospital supervisor for the past 24 years.
She is survived by a daughter, Frances “Fran” Pappolla of Norwalk; two sons, Michael and John Garvey, both of Norwalk; two granddaughters; a brother in Mississippi; and many relatives and friends in Rhode Island. She was preceded in death by a son, Hank Garvey.
Friends are invited to greet the family from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 21 in Norwalk’s Hoyt-Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 5 East Wall St. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 22 at St. Matthew’s Church, 216 Scribner Ave. in Norwalk.
