Beach was born July 18, 1944, the daughter of John and Angelina Izzo. She was a member of the Norwalk Police Department from August 1982, until her retirement in April of 2009. She worked for the Department of Public Works and Oak Hills Golf Course before beginning her career with the police family.
Beach is survived by her son, Richard Beach of Norwalk. She was predeceased by her parents.
Calling hours are Wednesday, July 30, from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Collins Funeral Home, 92 East Ave., Norwalk. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, July 31, at 10 a.m. in St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 203 East Ave., Norwalk. Interment will be private.
