Breaking News: One Killed In Shooting At Apartment Complex In Bridgeport

Carlos Cintron, 87, Of Norwalk, Supervisor For Colonial Foot Wear

NORWALK, Conn. - Carlos Cintron of Norwalk died June 17. He was 87.

Cintron was born Nov. 2, 1925, in Yabucoa, Puerto Rico; son of Manuel and Teresa Soto Cintron. He was an Army veteran having served during the Korean War. He was a postal carrier for 17 years as well as a tax consultant and most recently a supervisor for Colonial Foot Wear.

Cintron is survived by his wife, Juana Mederos Cintron; daughter, Luz Ester Clapp (Roger) of Danbury; and many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours are Thursday, June 20 from 6 to 8 p.m. in Norwalk’s Hoyt-Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 5 East Wall Street. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
