NORWALK, Conn. – Carl "Choo-Choo" D. Jones, of High Point, N.C., and formerly of Norwalk, died Aug. 9. He was 53.
Jones was born May 12, 1953, in Norwalk, to Barbara M. Davis and Benjamin Allen Jones Jr. He attended Norwalk public schools. He relocated to North Carolina in 1997 and was employed at Harriss-Covington Hosiery Mills in High Point for many years.
He is survived by his mother, Barbara; his son, Curtis Jones, of Norwalk; four brothers, Kevin (Gail) Jones, of Bridgeport, Benjamin A. (Tracey) Jones, of Archdale, N.C., Rafael (Tasha) Jones, of Bridgeport, and Thomas Fagan, of New Canaan; a sister, Paula Jones, of Norwalk; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Calling hours are from 10 to 11 a.m., Friday, followed by a funeral service at Grace Baptist Church in Norwalk. The Rev. Glen Floyd will be officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Norwalk. Downer Funeral Home in Norwalk is handling arrangements.
