NORWALK, Conn. - Camila Marie Haughey, 82, of Norwalk, died Monday, June 8.
She was born May 29, 1933, in Ireland, to the late Madeline Valente and Dan Doherty.
Survivors include five children, Gerry (Peggy) Haughey of Arkansas, Norman (Debbie) Haughey of Florida, Danny (Karen) Haughey of Massachusetts, Rosemarie (Louis) Promuto, and Ann Dugan (companion Mike Skinner), both of Norwalk; two sisters, Anna and Margaret of Belfast, Northern Ireland; one brother, Danny of Belfast, Northern Ireland; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.
Her husband, Norman Haughey; and one brother, Raymond, preceded her in death.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 203 East Ave., Norwalk.
Interment will follow in St. John Cemetery, 223 Richards Ave., Norwalk.
Collins Funeral Home, Norwalk, is handling the arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
