NORWALK, Conn. – Brian "Mag" McGrath, a native of Norwalk, died June 24 in New Smyrna Beach, Fla. He was 54.
Born Aug. 14, 1957, in Norwalk, he was the son of Beulah "Pat" C. Plumb and the late Edward M. McGrath.
McGrath is survived a son, Michael John McGrath; a daughter, Sarah A. McGrath; his companion, Mary Ledreton; two brothers, Edward K. (Lynn) McGrath and Michael James (Kimbra) McGrath; two stepbrothers, Allan W. (Janet) Plumb and Donald L. (Sonja) Plumb; and two uncles.
A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Thomas the Apostle Church in Norwalk. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Vincent DePaul Society, c/o St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 203 East Ave., Norwalk, CT 06851.
