NORWALK, Conn. - Brendan A. DaMato, Sr. died Monday, Sept. 1. He was 73.
DaMato was born Dec. 1, 1940, in Norwalk, to Arthur J. and Myrtle DaMato. He worked for the Norwalk Post Office for 37 years.
DaMato is survived by his wife, Juana Borrero DaMato of Kissimmee, Fla.; son, Brendan DaMato, Jr. (Maritza); daughter, Michele DaMato; four grandchildren; five great grandchildren; four siblings; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents.
Calling hours are Friday, Sept. 5 from 2 to 8 p.m. in the Collins Funeral Home, 92 East Ave., Norwalk. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, Sept. 6, at 12:30 p.m. in St. Joseph Church, 85 South Main St., Norwalk. Interment will follow in St. John Cemetery, 223 Richards Ave., Norwalk.
