NORWALK, Conn. Bozinos Bellios of Norwalk died Aug. 2 at his home. He was 79.
Born June 2, 1933, in Eddessa, Greece, he was son of Thanasi and Maria Bellios. He emigrated from Greece in 1966 and worked as a welder for Nash Engineering for about 20 years.
Bellios was married to Parthena Exouzidou Bellios and is remembered by his family as "care-free and free-spirited" and a loving father.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, are a daughter, Maria (George) Tsimis, of Norwalk; two sons, Chris Bellios, of Norwalk, and Eddie (Athina) Bellios, of Trumbull; six grandchildren; a great-granddaughter and many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours were Sunday at the Collins Funeral Home in Norwalk. Services were held Monday morning at St. George Greek Orthodox Church in Norwalk.
