NORWALK, Conn. – Barbara J. Krausse of Norwalk died Dec. 31 at Norwalk Hospital. She was 73.
Krausse was born Jan. 30, 1939, in Little Falls, N.Y., to Leila Stauring Taylor of Norwalk and the late Carl A. Taylor. She was married to Clifford F. Krausse and was a member and past president of the Rowayton Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary and Norwalk Boat Club Ladies Auxiliary.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Krausse is survived by her husband; her mother; a daughter, Sharon (Richard) Decarie, of Bethel; a son Thomas "Timmy" (Linda) Krausse, of Norwalk; an adopted daughter, Daphne Martin, of Saratoga Springs, Utah; two brothers, Edward Taylor, of Bridgeport, and Carl Taylor, of Stratford; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Magner Funeral Home in Norwalk, with a prayer service beginning at 7 p.m. Burial will be private.
