NORWALK, Conn. – Barbara J. Iannacone, 80, died Sunday, July 19 at the Norwalk Hospital.
She was born July 9, 1935, in Norwalk. The daughter of the late Harry Boyd and Viola Norton Boyd, she worked for T-bar Corporation in Wilton, Connecticut for several years; Cuthbertson Imports in Norwalk; and most recently, the Norwalk Medical Group.
She was an avid reader and loved cooking, especially for both family and friends.
In addition to her husband of 63 years, Daniel F. Iannacone Sr., she is survived three sons, Daniel F. Iannacone Jr. (Donna) of Torrington, Connecticut; Randy Iannacone (Nancy) of Port St. Lucie, Florida; Timothy Iannacone (Patricia) of Norwalk; and a daughter, Tisha Iannacone of Norwalk; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by two sisters.
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Wednesday, July 22 at 9:30 a.m. in St. Mary Church, 669 West Avenue, Norwalk. A private burial will take place in Riverside Cemetery, Norwalk.
