NORWALK, Conn. - Barbara Ann Bogart Abruscato of Norwalk died Nov. 8. She was 90.

Abruscato was born Sept. 16, 1928, in Norwalk, to Helga Charlotte (Olsen) Bogart and Frederick Bogart. During World War II she worked selling gas stamps and as a switchboard operator. Later in life she did volunteer work for a world peace organization.

Abruscato is survived by her children, Michelle, Diane (William) Perault, and John Paul (Peggy Knapp); nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents; husbands, Michael Paul Abruscato and Nicholas John Abruscato; and stepdaughter, Joan.

A celebration of Abruscato's life will be held Tuesday, Nov. 11 from 12 to 3 p.m. at the Norwalk Inn.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Wildlife Federation or Connecticut Hospice .
