NORWALK, Conn. - Assunta Mingione, a longtime resident of Norwalk, died Tuesday, April 15. She was 92.
Mingione was born Aug. 28 1921, the daughter of Joseph and Antoinette Mingione.
Mingione is survived by her brothers-in-law, Luigi D’Alto of Norwalk and Mario D’Alto of San Rufo, Italy; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; husband, Nicholas Antonio D’Alto; sister, Rose Plumeri; and sisters-in-law, Maria Sorge, Rosaria and Amelia D’Alto.
Calling hours are Monday, April 21, at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave., Norwalk, at 11 a.m. until services begin. Services will be held at noon Monday, April 21, at the funeral home, with burial to follow at St. John Cemetery, Norwalk.
