NEW CANAAN, Conn. – Ashley M. Coutermash, 35, of New Canaan, died Friday, March 20.
She was born April 12, 1979. After graduating from New Canaan High School in 1997, she obtained her beautician license and then her certification in early childhood development, most recently having taught preschool at the New Canaan YMCA, where she was affectionately known as Miss Ashley.
She is survived by her daughter, Mackenzie Jade Skopp; parents Charlene M. and Edward A. Coutermash of Jensen Beach, Fla.; a brother, Craig E. Coutermash of Huntington, N.Y.; her grandmother, Barbara E. Mansfield; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held Monday, March 30, at noon at the Piedmont Club, 152 Hecker Ave., Darien.
