NORWALK, Conn. – Arturo Cruz of Norwalk died Oct. 21 at Montowese Health and Rehabilitation Center in North Haven. He was 50.
Born Oct. 24, 1961, in Puerto Rico, he was the son of Rogelio and Migdalia Bonet Cruz. His family moved to Norwalk when he was an infant. Cruz served in the Navy and later worked as an engineer for Microphase Corp.
Cruz is survived by his parents, Rogelio and Migdalia; two sons, Joseph Cruz, of West Haven, and Brandon Cruz, of Norwalk; a brother, Joe Cruz, of Norwalk; a sister, Alice Cruz, of Norwalk; and three grandchildren.
Visitation is 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Collins Funeral Home in Norwalk. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Church in Norwalk. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery in Norwalk.
