NORWALK, Conn. – Arthur C. Davis, of Norwalk, died Sunday, June 28, at St. Vincent's Medical Center of diabetes. He was 83.
Davis was born on April 15, 1932, in Norwalk to Arthur Eugene Davis and Carmela (nee Vertucci) Davis Petracelli. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War and worked in the sheet metal trades as a member of Local 38.
He was predeceased by his parents.
Davis is survived by his wife, Margaret "Ann" (nee Connor); their children, Arthur C. Jr., and his wife Sharon, Deborah Karwosky and her husband, Brian, and Kathy Piro and her husband, Robert "Bo", Gloria Raymond and her husband, Richard; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother, Robert "Bob"; two sisters, Bernice and Barbara; and many nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be Friday, July 3, from 8-10 a.m. at Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave., Norwalk.
A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30 a.m. at St. Matthew Church, 216 Scribner Ave., Norwalk.
Burial with military honors will follow at St. John Cemetery in Norwalk.
