NORWALK, Conn. – Antonette M. Doddo, 105, wife of the late Patsy J. Doddo, died Friday, Aug. 7.
She born July 10, 1910, the daughter of the late Salvatore and Geneva (Barber) Gilbertie.
In addition to her husband, Patsy, of 65 years, she was predeceased by her daughter Angela M. Doddo, a sister and a brother.
She was a lifelong resident of Westport and worked in the Westport Schools cafeteria and for the Burndy Corp. She was a member of Assumption Church in Westport and the Catholic Daughters.
Survivors include two daughters, MaryLou Bell of Westport, Connecticut; Annette and her husband, A. J. Izzo, of Westport; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Thursday, Aug. 13 from 9:30-11:30 a.m. in the Harding Funeral Home, 210 Post Road East, Westport, with a mass of Christian burial following at noon at Assumption Church, 98 Riverside Ave., Westport. Interment will follow in St. John’s Cemetery, 223 Richards Ave., Norwalk.
