Anthony J. Eula, 88, Of Norwalk, Owned Tony Eula Architect

NORWALK, Conn. - Anthony J. Eula of Norwalk died Oct. 26. He was 88.

Eula was born Jan. 26, 1926, in Norwalk, to Lena Eula Paqua and Dominick Elua. He graduated from Norwalk High School in 1944 and then from Columbia University in 1950 with a degree in Architecture. He served as a second lieutenant fighter pilot in World War II and later started his own practice as Tony Eula Architect which he ran for 44 years in Norwalk. He was a member of the American Institute of Architects and a 45 year member of Shorehaven Golf Club.

Eula is survived by his wife, Rosemary Lucci Eula; son, Grant E. Eula; daughter, Tracey A Eula Marble (Michael); and four grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents; daughter-in-law, Marie Eula; sister, Margaret Claps; and brothers, Joseph and Dominick.

Calling hours are Wednesday, Oct. 29 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Collins Funeral Home, 92 East Ave., Norwalk. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, Oct. 30 at 10 a.m. in St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 203 East Ave., Norwalk. Entombment will follow in St. John Cemetery, Richards Ave., Norwalk.
