Anthony Iannazzo, 84, Norwalk Native

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- Anthony Peter Iannazzo, of Bridgeport, died Tuesday, Oct. 6 at St. Vincent's Medical Center. He was 84.

Born in Norwalk, the son of Anthony and Louise (Pullia) Iannazzo, he served in the U.S. Air Force. 

He was the owner and operator of a Pepperidge Farm Snack distributorship for more than 55 years.

He is survived by sons David Iannazzo and Jeffrey Iannazzo (Caren), and a daughter Debra Berkowitz (Peter); grandchildren; Cori Iannazzo, Amanda Fekete, Matthew Iannazzo, Kara Fekete and Hayley Berkowitz; a sister, Millie Iannazzo; and several nieces and nephews. He also is survived by his former wife, Janine Iannazzo.

Iannazzo’s family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Thursday at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave., Norwalk. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 203 East Ave., Norwalk.

Entombment with military honors will follow at St. John Cemetery in Norwalk.
