NORWALK, Conn. - Anna M. Scarcella D'Ambrosio of Norwalk died Monday, May 6. She was 91.
D’Ambrosio was born Jan. 1, 1922, in Stamford, daughter of Peter Scarcella and Elizabeth (Madeo) Scarcella. Besides being a homemaker and mother, she worked as a secretary for many years. She taught catechism at Sacred Heart Church.
D’Ambrosio is survived by daughters, Anna Marie D'Ambrosio and Carolyn D'Ambrosio. She was predeceased by her parents; husband, Nunzio D'Ambrosio; and brother, Peter Scarcella.
Calling hours are Friday, May 10 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Lacerenza Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8 Schuyler Ave., Stamford. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday, May 11 at 9:45 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Church, 37 Schuyler Ave., Stamford. Interment will follow at St. John's Cemetery, Darien.
