Ann Post Regan, 98, Of Norwalk, Worked For Stanley Home Products

NORWALK, Conn. - Ann Post Regan of Norwalk died Aug. 13. She was 98.

Regan was born June 23, 1915, in Wallingford, and has been a resident of Norwalk for most of her life. She was a product demonstrator and unit sales leader for Stanley Home Products for over 40 years. She was a graduate of Norwalk High School, Class of 1932. She was a founding member of St. Jerome Church and School and was a member of the St. Jerome Parish family. She was also member of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post 603, the Knights of Columbus Council 46 Columbiettes, the Senior Center of Norwalk, PTA President Winnipauk School, Honey Hill Care Center (volunteer) and the Wilton/Norwalk AARP Chapter 3929.

Regan is survived by her children, Judith Messing (Phillip) of Boca Raton, Fla.; Lt. Col. (Ret.) Thomas Regan (Joyce) of Libertyville, Ill., David Regan of Santa Cruz, Calif., Nancy Delorey (Dennis) of Burlington, Mass., Richard Regan (Maria) of Mesquite, Nev., Dennis Regan (Christina) of Wallingford, Janis Vento (Dominick) of Weston and Kevin Regan (Karen) of Milford; 24 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Wallace Regan; brothers, Charles and Joseph Post; sisters, Margaret Wupperfeld and Elizabeth LeCates; daughter-in-law, Lynn Pitcher Regan; and granddaughter, Carol Messing.

Calling hours are Monday, Aug. 19 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave., Norwalk. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 20 at St. Jerome Church, 23 Half Mile Road, Norwalk. Interment will follow immediately at St. John’s Cemetery, Richards Ave., Norwalk.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the St. Jerome Church or Visiting Nurse and Hospice of Fairfield County.
