NORWALK, Conn. -- Anita Marie Davis Anastasia, of Norwalk, died at home on Monday, April 27. She was 84.
Anastasia was born Aug. 28, 1930, in Norwalk to Arthur and Ann Elizabeth O’Connor Davis. She attended St. Mary’s School and Center Junior High School and graduated from Norwalk High School. She continued her education at Fairfield University and Westport Continuing Education.
She designed page layout for Brooks Community Newspapers, while volunteering for the United Way and The Jimmy Fund.
She was predeceased by her husband Anthony J. Anastasia and her brother William Davis. She is survived by her four children, David, Donna, Gary and Jay; and eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren as well as many other family members and friends.
No calling hours are planned. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, May 1, at 11 a.m. at Assumption Church, located at 98 Riverside Ave. in Westport.
Interment will follow in Assumption Cemetery, located at Greens Farm Road in Westport.
