Anita Ladden Rudolf, 90, Librarian, Formerly Of Norwalk

PEABODY, Mass. - Anita Ladden Rudolf of Peabody, Mass., formerly of Norwalk, died Friday, Nov. 1. She was 90.

Rudolf was born Jan. 5, 1923, in Brooklyn, N.Y.  She earned a bachelor’s degree from  Hunter College in New York City and a master’s degree in library science from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, N.Y.

After her marriage, she moved to Norwalk. While raising her family, she also had a career in the South Norwalk Public Library and as head librarian at both Nathan Hale and Ponus Ridge Junior High Schools. She retired as head librarian at Norwalk High School.

Rudolf is survived by her daughters, Debra M. Rudolf of Westpor and Laurie R. (David L.) Arsenault of Essex; and many Ladden, Learner and Rudolf relatives.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov.4, at Collins Funeral Home, 92  East Ave., Norwalk. Burial will follow in the Independent Hebrew Society Cemetery, Richards Ave., Norwalk.
