Angelina Lopiano Lupariello, 85, Worked At Norwalk Pastry Shop

STAMFORD, Conn. - Angelina Lopiano Lupariello of Stamford died Saturday, Sept. 21. She was 85.

Lupariello was born Dec. 1, 1927, in Minturno, Province D'Latina, Italy, daughter of Leonardo and Maria Paparella Lopiano. She was a retired employee of Angela Mia Italian Pastry Shoppe in Norwalk, with 25 years of service.

Lupariello is survived by her daughter, Lee Gentile of Fairfield; former son-in-law, Daniel Gentile of Stamford; sisters, Vincenza Lopiano Ciccadicola (Armando) of Rome, Italy, Pia Lopiano of Minturno, Italy and Liliana Lopiano Pappa (Aldo) of Stamford; brothers, Antonio Lopiano of Minturno, Italy and Giovanni Lopiano (Tilda) of Gaeta, Italy; and several nieces and nephews in Italy and the U.S. She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Leonardo Costantino Lupariello; and brother, Pasquale Lopiano.

Calling hours are Thursday, Sept. 26 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull. Funeral services will take place at 9 a.m. Friday, Sept. 27 at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. in Holy Cross Church, 750 Tahmore Drive, Fairfield. Interment will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery, Stratford.
