THE VILLAGES, Fla. - Andrew Dutkanych, Jr., of The Villages, formerly of Norwalk, died Dec. 16. He was 67.
Dutkanych was born Nov. 14, 1946, in Derby, Conn.; son of Josephine Dutkanych and Andrew Dutkanych. He attended Seymour High School and received his Bachelors from Iona College and a Masters from the University of New Haven. He was a police officer with the City of Norwalk for 25 years. He retired to Florida and worked for H$R Block.
Dutkanych is survived by his wife, Helene; mother, Josephine; daughter, Lisa (Chris) of Milford; sons, Andrew (Caroline) of Indianapolis, and Bradley (Erika) of Pensacola; nine grandchildren; and sister, Deborah of Naugatuck. He was predeceased by his father, Andrew.
Calling hours are Monday, Dec. 23 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Collins Funeral Home, 92 East Ave., Norwalk.
