Ameda N. Pastore, 81, Of Norwalk, Army Veteran, Worked For Borden’s Dairy

NORWALK, Conn. - Ameda N. Pastore of Norwalk died Wednesday, June 5. He was 81.

Pastore was born June 6, 1932, in Norwalk, son of Frank and Celia (Falcone) Pastore. He was a veteran of the United States Army, serving in Germany following World War II. He worked for Borden's Dairy in Norwalk and Stratford, Teddy's Limousine, and the Weston Public Schools as a custodian before his retirement.

Pastore is survived by his wife, Adrianna (Pascale) Pastore; daughters, Loretta (George) Mikaiel and Annmarie (Timothy) Santolini; sister, Eleanor Britten; and four granddaughters. He was predeceased by his parents; brothers, Nicholas, Frank, Michael and Nunzio Pastore; and sisters, Marie Hargrove and Philomena Nardi.

Calling hours are Sunday, June 9 from 3 to 6 p.m. at The Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave., Norwalk. Services will take place at 10 a.m. Monday, June 10 at Assumption Church, 98 Riverside Ave., Westport for a Mass of Christian Burial, with interment to follow at Willowbrook Cemetery, 395 Main St., Westport.
