NORWALK, Conn. - Alice Gilmore of Norwalk died Oct. 22. She was 87.
Gilmore was June 6, 1926, born in Hallsboro, N.C., to George Willie and Sarah Magnolia Shular. She was a longtime Norwalk resident.
Gilmore is survived by her son, Frederick L. Gilmore (Patricia); two grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and brothers Elwood, Carl, Avance, George, and Ezzell Shular. She was predeceased by her parents; brothers, Carson and Bobby Shular; and sister, Loretta Miller.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 28 at Collins Funeral Home, 92 East Ave., Norwalk, CT 06851. Repass to follow at the residence of Frederick and Patricia Gilmore.
