He was born July 22, 1926, in Brooklyn, N.Y., to Albert and Amelia (Marinaro) Renna. He was a Navy veteran, and later worked as a plant supervisor for Peabody Engineering. He was also a member of The New Horizons and a proud member of the Knights of Columbus.
In addition to his wife, Dorothy, he is survived by his children, Stephen and his wife, Ellen; Marc and his wife, Kathy; and Marissa Barbera and her husband, James; as well as Michael and Kate Fiore, Christine and Glen Lawrence and Nancy and Brad Belota; his brother, Romeo Renna; 11 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10 a.m. at St. Matthew's Church, 216 Scribner Ave., Norwalk. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, 399 North St., Greenwich. There will be no calling hours.
The Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave., Norwalk, is handling arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Matthew's Church.
