Xtreme Cheer Athletes From Norwalk Featured In Movie

NORWALK, Conn. -- Athletes from Norwalk's Xtreme Cheer program are featured in a film that will be released in October.

The film, "Louder Than Bombs," features Jessie Eisenberg. Filming took place last September in New York City. A clip of the Xtreme cheer team was posted on a promotional video for the film.

Three Xtreme Cheer athletes are on the official movie poster and the Cannes Film Festival website for the film.

“Louder than Bombs” is a family drama about the impact of a mother’s death on her husband and two sons, according to TheWrap.com. The story is told from the perspective of three different male characters who themselves are at pivotal crossroads in the lives of men — coming of age, becoming a new father, and settling into middle age as a widower.
