YORKTOWN, N.Y.-- There are several groups meeting throughout Yorktown this week. Here's a look at what's happening in Yorktown this week:
- A mobile shredder will be in town Monday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Town Hall parking lot for residents to shred their personal documents.
- The Yorktown Central School District's Board of education will meet Monday at 7 p.m. in the Mildred E. Strang Middle School cafeteria.
- The Yorktown Planning Board will meet Monday evening at 7:30 p.m. in the Town Hall Board Room. The meeting can also be viewed on Cablevision Channel 20 and FiOS Channel 33.
- The Yorktown Town Board will hold a work session at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Town Hall Board Room.
- The Yorktown Conservation Board will meet 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Town Hall Board Room.
- A program for Black History month will be held at the John C. Hart Memorial Library Thursday evening at 7:30 p.m. No registration is required and the program is free and open to the public.
- The Yorktown Energy Advisory Committee will meet Thursday at 7:30 p.m. in the Town Hall Conference Room.
- The Lakeland Central School District's Board of Education will hold a regular business meeting Thursday at 7:30 in the Benjamin Franklin Elementary School.
