NORWALK, Conn. – It’s all about the children in Norwalk this weekend, from fundraisers to "West Side Story." Here is what’s happening in Norwalk the weekend of March 23 to 25:
Friday
• 6 p.m.: Everyone’s favorite zany cat from the whimsical world of Dr. Seuss visits Stepping Stones Museum for Children from 6 to 8:30 p.m. for storytelling, crafts and a musical parade. Tickets are $12 per person, and $10 for museum members.
• 7 p.m.: The Norwalk High Post Graduation Party Committee will be hosting a Fashion Show at the Norwalk Inn from 7 to 10 p.m. Admission is $10 for students and $15 for adults. Tickets will be available at the door.
• 8 p.m.: The Brien McMahon High School Drama Club is putting on its spring musical – "West Side Story." Tickets are $20-VIP Orchestra, $12 for adults and $10 for senior/students. Performances are March 23, 24, 30 and 31 at 8 p.m. with a matinee Saturday, March 31, at 2 p.m.
Saturday
• 3 p.m.: Head over to City Hall to see the Butterfly Project Step Show Competition, where children in step squads from Massachusetts, Maryland, New York and Stamford compete.
• 6 p.m.: The First Congregational Church of Norwalk at Park Street and Lewis Street is holding its International Pot Luck Dinner. Guests are encouraged to bring their favorite ethnic dish and wear costumes.
