What's Happening in Norwalk This Week

NORWALK, Conn. – Take some time to learn more about how the City of Norwalk works this week with all the government meetings taking place. Here is what’s happening the week of April 2–5:


  • Norwalk Main Library – 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.: Friends of the Norwalk Public Library will meet in the conference room for their monthly board meeting.
  • Concert Hall in City Hall – 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.: The Board of Estimate and Taxation will hold its regular meeting in Concert Hall.


  • Norwalk Main Library – 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.: Join in the hands-on, fun experiments with the library’s weekly “Mad Science” program to learn about different scientific principles.
  • Stew Leonard’s in Norwalk – 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.: Children ages 9 and under will be given a map of Stew Leonard’s and a bag to collect eggs from costumed characters in the store’s “Easter Egg Hunt Eggs-Travaganza.”
  • NEON Offices – 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.: The Board of Directors for NEON will hold a special meeting.
  • Norwalk City Hall – 7:45 p.m. to 9 p.m.: The Board of Education will hold its regular meeting in Room A300 at City Hall.


  • Norwalk City Hall – 10 a.m. to noon: The Mayor’s Neighborhood Preservation Committee will hold its regular meeting in City Hall Room 231.
  • Norwalk Main Library – 4 p.m. to 4:45 p.m.: Children of all ages and their caregivers may come for a short story and craft.


  • Maritime Aquarium – 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.: The Maritime Authority is having a special meeting at the aquarium.
  • Norwalk Main Library – 6 p.m. to 8:15 p.m.: The library is playing host to Literacy Volunteers of America for tutor training in English for Speakers of Other Languages.
