NORWALK, Conn. — Norwalk's local government buildings are closed Monday for Presidents Day.
Norwalk's schools will be closed, and the Board of Education office will be closed also.
City Hall and municipal offices throughout the city will be closed, but there will be regularly scheduled garbage collection and recycling pickup.
The city’s transfer station, located at 61 Crescent St., will be open from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The U.S. Postal Service will not deliver mail, and most banks will be closed. Check with your bank to find out if it will be open.
Most stores will be open, but if you're heading out, check first to make sure the store will be open.
