Tuesday, Nov. 27

Christmas Tree Lighting: 5:30 p.m. Stew Leonard’s celebrates the holidays with its annual Christmas tree lighting. The Sawbuck Band will perform, Santa and Mrs. Claus will give out candy canes to kids and there will be free hot cocoa and cookies. Stew Leonard’s, 100 Westport Ave.

Wine for the Holidays: 7 p.m. Norwalk resident and wine expert Jordan Ross will suggest wines that are appropriate for the holiday season. South Norwalk Branch Library, 10 Washington St.

Saturday, Dec. 1

Fairfield County Chorale Winter Concert: 7:30 p.m. the Fairfield County Chorale will perform with the New Haven Symphony Orchestra. Tickets are $30 in advance, $35 at the door. Norwalk Concert Hall, 125 East Ave.

Wednesday, Dec. 5

My Time for Me Tarot and Treats Holiday Event: 7 p.m. Find out what’s in store for you next year at this event featuring Beth Lears of TLC Tarot, the Good as Gold Girls and Chocopologie. Enjoy wine and chocolate while finding out your future. $60 per person. Chocopologie, 12 S. Main St.

Thursday, Dec. 6

Tree and Courtyard Lighting: 5 p.m. Stepping Stones Museum will be open late with free admission as visitors can enjoy a tree lighting, caroling around the museum and a special performance of “The Frog Prince and Other Tales.” Stepping Stones Museum for Children, 303 West Ave.

Saturday, Dec. 8

Norwalk Symphony Orchestra Holiday Extravaganza: 5 p.m. The Norwalk Symphony Orchestra, the Seabury Academy Choir and the Pivot Ministries Choir will perform a concert of holiday favorites. Norwalk Concert Hall, 125 East Ave.

Monday, Dec. 10

Menorah Lighting Ceremony: 5 p.m. Stew Leonard’s hosts its 20th annual menorah lighting ceremony to celebrate Hanukkah. Rabbi Yehoshua Hecht of Beth Israel of Westport/Norwalk will light an 18-foot menorah. There will be holiday songs and dancing and Kosher refreshments. Dreidels and chocolate will be distributed to all. Stew Leonard’s, 100 Westport Ave.

Saturday, Dec. 15

Holiday Handbell Performance: 2 p.m. Enjoy the sounds of the season with a special performance by Shelton’s Trinity Lutheran Church Bell Choir. Stepping Stones Museum for Children, 303 West Ave.

Norwalk Community Chorale Christmas Concert: 7 p.m. The Norwalk Community Chorale will have its 52nd annual Christmas Concert. Norwalk Concert Hall, 125 East Ave.
