NORWALK, Conn. – A sawed off shotgun was seized and two people were arrested Saturday in a Norwalk housing project following an undercover investigation by Norwalk Police Special Services officers, Sgt. Lisa Cotto said. The U.S. attorney's office has been contacted to see if the case meets the standards for federal prosecution. Both Isabelo Delgado, 22, of 3054 Fairfield Ave., Bridgeport, and Larry Jackson, 19, of 28 Perry St., Stamford, were held on $100,000 bond.

Officers were doing an undercover drug buy from specific targets at about 9 p.m., Cotto said. They went to Colonial Village, where they arrested Delgado and Jackson. During the operation officers seized 13 grams of marijuana that was packaged for sale. They also seized a pistol grip shotgun with a sawed off barrel and four rounds in the chamber. Other rounds were also recovered. Police are not releasing any other details. Officers Kyle Lipeika and Jared Zwickler made the bust.

Delgado and Jackson were charged with illegal possession near a school, criminal possession of a firearm, illegal manufacture/distribution/sale/prescription drugs, weapons in a motor vehicle, possession of a sawed off shotgun/silencer, conspiracy, sale/possession within distance of a school and possession of less than four ounces of marijuana.
